LISKA:

Liska has always exibited alot of balance and lift in her movement with excellent articulation of her limbs. Liska is bred for the dressage ring, but has the athletic ability & conformation to do jumping as well.
Liska has been ranched raised with full time turn out. She has been give time to mature and be a horse. As a result all our horses are not not lunged, or backed until they are 3-4yrs old.
Liska has started her training/breaking this spring as a 4yr old, and has showed she is smart, manageable and has a very good work ethic. She is always at the gate waiting for her training session. After having the saddle only three times, I decided to mount to see how she would handle it and she was wonderful. After Liska has had her basic training she was sent to a jumper trainer for 6 weeks of training. She returned home Oct 01/09. Liska went for further training from Nov14-Dec14/09. She is currently doing a solid w/t/c. & was exposed to some trail riding. Liska has a ton of power and wonderful self-carriage and balance. When watching her undersaddle, she carries herself as if she has been in training alot longer than she has been. Liska will have a couple of months off over the winter and will return to training in the spring to prepare for her show career.
Liska's dam is a black Oldenburg mare by the Oldenburg stallion Alternative, who scored premium at her inspection. Alternativ is one of the Founding Oldenburg Stallions in the United States. He continues the prepotency of the Absatz line. He's the only approved son in the US from the legendary Elite St.Pr.Hanoverian Stallion, Aktuell.

Liska was presented to Oldenburg NA for breeding approval in August /08 and received a score of 102. 3 points off Premium. The inspector told us to re-present Liska when she is 5 as she is growing alot right now, and by then would be done maturing. It was his opinion that she would score higher and score premium. He said she was a high quality, correct mare with alot of power in her movement.
